Obviously, but we're looking half of his wages paid in addition to a sizeable loan fee. Surely Como can't afford that.

RobsonsWonderland
I've got rose tainted glasses of transfer windows ten years ago when there was a new transfer every day... And of people I actually knew without having to Google their names or rely on someone else's facebook scouting. Poor Harry Redknapp would be skint without all his back handers and brown envelopes. Once they bought him back they amortized the fee like any other player. My understanding is that under PSR there will be very little benefit to Villa for this as the "book value" of the player will still be high as they haven't had him for long. Spurs ars sweeping up teenage wonderkids like nobody's business for big money. 5 transfers for players 21 or under in the summer for big money - 40m, 30m, 15m, 10m and a cheapy all for boys. Gray, Odobert & Bergvall look like real talents. It's a season or two too early for them.

aussiemag
I was in Stockholm around this time last year and went to a DIF game to see what the standard was like. It was clear that Bergvall was technically on another planet to every other player on the pitch. I quickly googled him, thinking my scouting career was about to kick off and realised he’d already signed a pre-contract with spurs. Any truth in they had him lined up even earlier but Brexit prevented it at the specific time.

They’ve not exactly done a great job increasing your negotiating power in the last few weeks like. To me it seems rather hopeful you’d get any fee of note (from a non Saudi club) at this time. Man City, Spurs, Brighton, Brentford and to a lesser degree Liverpool, have loads of FFP/PSR headroom. Man City's numbers are cooked to bits.
