If you had a choice between PIF giving us big money for one of dispensable players or us getting some of their superstar players on the cheap which would you prefer?

Or......would anyone be happy to take £250M for Isak from Saudi?

I genuinely never want to hear people say we have profited from the Saudi League again

Close to 140M for Diaby and Duran for Villa

Imagine if they gave Liverpool their money back for Nunez

Annoyingly, we are one of the only clubs who haven’t profited from it [emoji38]

Obviously it's good money for him but Duran is really good with loads of room to improve and Watkins is on the way out physically.

It's not far off us selling one of our blue chip players to Saudi tbh.

Duran is quite limited though, he’s purely a shooter. I don’t see him starting for a top European club.

PSG are trying to sign him, and he'd probably start for them. Are they not a top European club?

Of course they are but I’d be surprised to see him start for them for any significant length of time. I don’t know who’s in their squad though. I assumed he’d be a rotation option for them.

He's quality for a 21 year old striker and proven he can do it in the PL. They're selling the future to pay for the now, which is what PSR does unfortunately.

His attitude does stink - so it could go either way with him long term admittedly. It's a good sale but I'm not sure they do it if the mechanics of PSR were not in play.

He doesn’t really need replacing though.  He’s not part of that core spine. It’s like losing a superior Harvey Barnes or a young Trippier.

I would say he does. If we sold Wilson, and played 50 games a season, we would need a replacement.
