68 million release clause.

We should be all ov…

Good player, but more left-sided really isn’t he? Not much use to us anyway.

Tbh, I always seem to watch him and think ‘he’s really good, but I want him to do a bit more’. Plus the memory of that honking pen will linger for a while.

It definitely wouldn't take 80m to get Kulu [emoji38]

Levy and most Spurs fans would drive him up here themselves for a lot less than that.

Just my opinion but I think he's very overrated on here.  Good player on his day.  But them days aren't very often

And even on his best days he's never an 80m player.  Nowhere near

For Everton to do a Forest, they'll probably need to copy Forest and sail very close to the PSR wind.

Moyes won the Conference League at West Ham but couldn't finish in the top half with Rice, Paqueta, and Jarrod Bowen. The following season, after Rice left and with 100M in the kitty, they conceded 74 goals.

They beat us final day but that was probably nerves and our main two strikers not have a functioning leg between them.

Do you think 50-55 would do it?

There’s a couple of different questions here. I’ve seen him play games where you could argue a case for £80M and there’s something really impressive about him as a person too, but it’s like the price of anything. The seller has to want to sell and if they don’t you have to pay more to prise what you want away from them. So do we want to sell?

“Levy and most Spurs fans would drive him up here themselves for a lot less than that”.. No. General feeling is that in a train wreck of a season and a squad in transition he’s probably the best player. He was certainly the best in the first half of the year, then both Maddison and Bergvall (and for a short while Spence) have taken centre stage. (By the final, of course, the three attacking CMs were injured). You don’t offer to drive your best player away unless somebody’s backing up several Brink’s-Mat trucks. He’s contracted until 2028.

The one variable that’s a concern is the injury. It’s severe, he’s going to be out for months, and maybe he won’t be quite the same player. The flip side of that is that I hope he’s now got a coach who’s technically savvy but also is less likely to inflict as much physical stress on the players, both in games and in training. Yet the injury makes any transfer much less likely - unless we think he’s actually broken. In which case, yeah, maybe we do drive him up there for 55M. How much would you take for Callum Wilson?
