From their academy alone the last two summer windows:

Palmer - £43m

Charles - £10m

Trafford - £15m

Forbs - £12m

Harwood-Bellis - £20m

Delap - £15m

That's £115m of pure profit PSR wise. They can spend a fortune off the back of that alone and that's not even including the Alvarez deals plus the sales of Mahrez/Laporte/Cancelo to Saudi.

They are golden for a while yet.

They will drop off soon and in that time they’ve signed Kovacic, Doku, Nunes for £135m, all who won’t have much of a market to recoup unless Saudis bail

them out.

Ederson, Ake, Stones, Akanji, Walker, Gundogan, KDB, Silva, Kovacic and Grealish. That’s a big group of players where Ederson aside, the sales are likely not there for good money. So need to find funds from somewhere in coming seasons and they can’t keep selling off the youth.

Bobb / McAtee / O’Riley / Lewis all need to be key squad players and pathways open for them over next 18 months or they will be fucked. Do think Pep will hold the side together next season, but when he goes, people will act shocked at the drop off because the squad is overlooked.

Man City used Alvarez loads, one of the reasons for their drop off. And for all of Man City recent stuff, they have made some seriously bad buys which will come at losses and they’ve decimated their youth team so will need to wait a few years to be able to sell again on same scale.

They will be restricted in coming seasons unless they move on O’Riley, McAtee, Savinho for good money. But then their squad is aging so can’t afford to lose them.

Restricted? They have a £260m head start of us each season regardless of what they do.

Sure, but the issue is they benefitted from unfettered investment in order to establish this current position - something others now aren't allowed to do. It demonstrates the drawbridge better than anything.

Also inflated income so they could continue to spend even once rules came in. They really are the untouchables - PSR is literally creating a one team league.

What makes West Ham think that Dhuran would be interested in going there? It's utter madness. He's worshipped at a much bigger club and has some of Europe's biggest teams keeping tabs on him.

Did I mention utter madness?

Romano linking Kayode to Brentford, has he been bad this season or something? Was meant to be an elite talent.

Brentford have agreed a deal with Fiorentina to sign Michael Kayode.  It is an initial loan until the summer with an optional £13.5m (€16m) purchase clause.

Seems cheap for a highly rated talent

The higher the bids Villa turn down the more Isak's value goes up. I'm loving it. Hopefully West Ham come back with a £80m bid and get that turned down too.

Ipswich signing Julio Enciso from Brighton on loan

Good signing for Ipswich that. Still think they’ll go down. But they’ve spent a bit and got a couple in on loan trying to stop up.

Giving how Forest have operated since being back, wouldn’t be shocked if they spent a load by end of Jan on a big signing and if they make some form of Europe, spend another £100m+ to try and stay at top end. Owner will gamble and happily run the risk of a small points deduction.

They took a gamble and up to now it’s paying off.

Some weird stuff going on at Brighton with talented youngsters just dropping off form.

They've got too many 10s and RWs. Lads end up 3rd, 4th choice and can't develop.

Enciso is a 10 right? JP, Rutter start ahead of him.

That Baleba has come good but he doesn't have crazy competition at CM. He was bad last season.

Enciso can play RW but he's 4th choice there too I believe.

Defo.

Gamble moving forward is spend beyond their and PSR means, and hope PSR is binned / watered down over next 12 months. Enables them to be in a better position than others who have tried to play it by the book. At worse, they have countless players of good selling age to fall back on.
