When you've got £70m for Gordon setting the standard of pricing for the summer it's always going to be high prices for players.

As long as it's not what the Scousers paid for Isak!

Yes, it is Newcastle that have set the standard for pricing and everything that follows will be based on that.

Who said that? Barca have chosen to pay that much.

If Man United pay £70m and £350k for an aging Casamiro then other clubs with DMs will look at that. City paying £100m for Grealish probably set the price for Rice to Arsenal, Caicedo to Chelsea etc.

This is the sad fact. For 4-5 clubs it's irrelevant.

Good for you guys though eh? Just under £200m for Gordon and Isak, you must be happy that it's irrelevant?

Unfortunately, it means we will continue to lose our best players and, as the prices are all pushed up by the Sky 6, then the prices of the average players (see Wissa and Elanga) are pushed up too so it is actually lose-lose for us.

Elanga has done well to somehow not make the top 50 here.

Who put this absolute SHITE together?

Betteneli at 10? Above that fucking rat cunt at 18 and was brought in on a free to be cheerleader for the bairns?

Bollocks, man. Fuck this.

Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford perfect examples of teams losing their best players but still doing well and qualifying for Europe this season by buying well and not above the odds.

I'd argue without that £100m Villa wouldn't have been able to rebuild the way they did. It's how you guys decide to spend your money.

Poor Dibbles, he’ll come back from this. Wissa, Kolo Muani, Brennan Johnson and Isak won’t. I reckon Delap will be a decent player again once he leaves Chelsea

Gittens was so so misguided to go to Chelsea, like.

Was really progressing well at Dortmund

Which we have to do legitimately, unlike your lot.

Take your point, but we were in the Champions League and therefore were looking for a different level of player, probably mistakenly as it happens.

Three 3rd choice keepers in the top 13? Shit list.

Yeah, we bought Kota Takai as a developmental CB and loaned him out for that reason. Having him on the list st all is silly, but at #9? Is this AI-generated?

I’d like us to sign Delap.

Lacks technically and is also a thug. Seen some really coward challenges. No thanks! Can see him doing quite well in a midtable team or a team that have tons of transitions.
