Mikky
Aye Barca have done well out of that. They could do with shifting Andre Gomes as well. Plus they have Arthur coming so needed to shift a non EU player out Gomes and Rafinha will be gone I reckon with Rabiot and Willian coming in
Village Idiot
Paulinho was good for us, but the deal is a good deal. Not sure about Willian. He's had a class season for sure, but he's going to cost loads and I'd rather get somebody with more years ahead in his prime. Rabiot I'm not too sure about. He seems to go missing in about half the games I have seen him play - while being class in the other half.
Mikky
Erikkson would be perfect for Barca (as would Hazard) - tad unrealistic I guess
Village Idiot
Also Paulinho gets to nearly double his wages. Man, I really don't get China.
TaylorJ_01
Paulinho deal is really fishy.
Village Idiot
Any deal involving Barça and Brazilians usually is. Coutinho seems off the hook though.
Zero
Also Paulinho gets to nearly double his wages. Man, I really don't get China. That team gone from sure winner in any competition to mediocore team in local league, once Paulinho left.
Shearergol
Erikkson would be perfect for Barca (as would Hazard) - tad unrealistic I guess Same person who gave me the Kenedy news, so again, pinch of salt, but Man City have enquired about Hazard. Shearergol
Is he a number 10? And at the same time we stuggle to spend more than £15m on a player. Fun times. Maybe we could try to get him on loan and scupper West Ham's plans.
Eddy Chibas
Is he a number 10? And at the same time we stuggle to spend more than £15m on a player. Fun times. Maybe we could try to get him on loan and scupper West Ham's plans. There's hope. Contract expires in a couple of years. Secure back-to-back season loans, and drive down the price. It's all about patience, and securing the perfect bargain deal.
Mikky
I didn't think Felipe Anderson was that good last season - didn't look like a 40m player to me
Village Idiot
PSG bids €270m for Coutinho, according to our press.
LRD
How do they ever get past FFP?
Taylor Swift
Neymar replacement? Hmm. If Barca have some young attacking midfielders lined up, it would be a good move to trade Coutinho for 3 players. If Son didn’t have the military service hanging over him, he would be perfect for Barca.

Raconteur
With Wet Spam buying all these midfielders, does that mean Lanzini might be available?
Village Idiot
How do they ever get past FFP? I presume they are going to sell Neymar/Mbappé and want a replacement. Release fee is €400m, if they oblige I'll drive Coutinho to Paris myself.

Interpolic
Surely Coutinho wants to stay at Barca for a bit?
Village Idiot
I'd think so. And I think he'll be class for us once he's settled. He already showed flashes of what he can do during the half season he had.

Would Barcelona be better off as a team with €400m in the bank and Coutinho out the door? Honestly I'm not sure. Football is a strange economy

They need to spend money like Madrid have over the last 5 years.
Village Idiot
We'd probably waste most of it, but surely we could nail at least one or two decent signings. Also there's the Camp Nou renovation. That sale would pay for all of it and with €100m remaining.
