TRon Posted January 23, 2021 Share Posted January 23, 2021 Haven't been taking too much notice of where we are with the takeover as it seems to a long drawn out process, but unless it's about to go through then it's not necessarily great timing. If we take another 6 months to get this deal done, then he'll probably end up somewhere else. Also don't see why we would be bringing Jones onto the coaching staff if we had sounded out Rafa. No guarentee Benitez is who the owners would want. Just agonizing coincidence imo. I like the potenital pressure angle for Bruce with Rafa lurking though.
