Bimpy474
Was reading something Kieran Dyer had just said, apparently we were all getting fed up with the football Rafa produced and it was time he went. That's the complete opposite of reality, it's utterly bizarre where these idiots get their nonsense from.
jackyboy
I lost interest and love for the club when Rafa left. I started to detest the club once they appointed a person I have hated all my life, as Rafa's replacement, not because he was a manager of Sunderland previously (please understand this you f***ing pundits), but even way before that I had hated the man. Just look at that clip of him with Dalglish and Keys. What a disgrace. Stop talking as if you're a Geordie (tell yer dad this you w***** Alex!). I could totally ignore that we were owned by a fat cunt sports shop owner when Rafa was here because I wanted to enjoy supporting the club again. Now? I just want us to lose so Bruce and Ashley don't get any praise and recognition for supposedly running and managing the club well. . I am with you every step of the way. I have always hated and despised Bruce throughout his so called managerial career

TRon
Celtic, Wolves or Leeds (depending on Bielsa resigning) seem the 3 likely next steps for him. Large Spanish core at Leeds, isn't there? Might make things easier, for him. Celtic would allow him to bring in his own team. Not sure about Wolves, they seem to have their own set-up which seems to work, it could appeal, but it might be a bit hands-off for him. Leeds would be a good geographically for Rafa personaly, but not sure how he would be received after Bielsa. He's got a pretty opposite philosophy about how the game should be played. Kieron Dyer really is thick as mince Played for the club for years under one of the greatest managers ever, know the club and what the fans want and still produce s*** like that. Crazy. Can’t stand hearing Dyer, Jenas and Bellamy talk about our club. Always missing the mark, and grinding their axe against us. Souness must have really done a number on them all, as they were privileged to play for an incredible man and manager, play in the CL and play in front of some amazing crowds at SJP - but they’ve rarely got a good word to say about the club, fans or city. LV
Agreed. I can’t stand all 3 of them. Bellamy and Dyer we’re decent players for us, especially Bellamy but none of the three have any real affinity for us.
Happinesstan
I can understand it from Bellamy and Dyer as there was often divided opinion on their characters. Don't think anybody was ever harsh on Jenas though. He's just a soft cunt.
TRon
Of those three, the one I can't understand being bitter is Bellamy as he was a fan favourite here. I get that he would be pissed at Souness, but he just seems to have a problem with the club as a whole.

Always had a chip on his shoulder and I can imagine him thinking he was unfairly treated. Which he was by Sounness, he just seems the type to put it all in one bag and hate the bag. buzza
Where do you think we would be now? ... if Rafa had been allowed to spend 10 million on the academy and another 60/70 mill as Bruce has had on players... I reckon the football would be ordered/organised but we probably wouldn´t have seen Maximillion here. We would be proud of the team and club and would be watching with intent and passion. Not quite the experience at the moment

Not quite the experience at the moment Where West Ham are. 100% what I was going to say. Keeping Rondon, Perez and Almiron and then giving him the £90 million that Bruce got?! The defence was already sorted. The Longstaff and Hayden pairing was getting better and better every game in midfield. He would have just fleshed out the squad and made the team better in certain areas, and improved the subs options. We would have been top 6 minimum, while threatening a whole lot more, considering how vulnerable the typical top 4 bunch have looked.

Yorkie
would rather have kept Rafa even if it meant no ASM here. Think that goes without saying, but ASM's a total crock, mind. Feel like we wouldn't have seen the best of him in any scenario. Even aside from COVID, he seems to have been carrying muscular injuries from the very beginning. Candi_Hills
Of those three, the one I can't understand being bitter is Bellamy as he was a fan favourite here. I get that he would be p*ssed at Souness, but he just seems to have a problem with the club as a whole. It's because he fell out with Shearer on his way out the door and that was a cardinal sin in the eyes of many, thus when he returned as an opposition player he got jeered. I was always on Bellamy's side though. He was consistently one of Bobby's best players and used to run his knackers off every game. He didn't deserve any s*** from our fans and I can understand why he'd feel hard done by. The only villain of the piece is that boring Scottish s***-for-brains who didn't know how to manage difficult personalities like Craig. The genius of Bobby shines through again. One thing I haven’t ever seen from ASM is these so-call behavioural/attitude problems. He’s seemingly been the perfect pro and has done his fair share of hard work for the team. I think he could’ve worked in a Benitez side.

Just suppose Ash has divested all responsibility for the club to Barnes and Charnley, and its Charnley who chose Bruce because he is (a plastic) Geordie (as an aside is Charnley a Geordie by birth?), and Barnes bought Joelinton because he relied upon the judgement of Nixon who said his value would sky rocket. If I owned a football club and wasn't clued-up on the football side then I'd opt to listen to a multi-trophy winning Rafa Benitez than those two helmets! He owns it and calls the shot so he is to blame
