Guest Howaythetoon Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I will never forget the day Mickey Quinn came to visit me at the RVI out of the blue with a bookies pencil behind his ear and a betting slip in hand when I was 10. He had heard about me in the paper and was at the RVI for an injury and just popped into visit me. I personally met him a few years back at a talk-in and he was as witty, charming and engaging as he was when I was a bairn. He could have been my dad that day when he visited me, making me laugh, cheering me up and genuinely showing care for my situation (I was badly burned). He is the only person who could criticise KK in front of me, which he did, and I wouldn’t get angry, upset or tell him he was talking crap. Love the bloke me and what a player. Lad I went to school with lived opposite and used to knock about with Oliver and Elliot when they were all bairns. It's ironic as fuck that we get Rafa Benitez as our manager under Mike fucking Ashley. We sign Shearer then Keegan leaves and he breaks his ankle in preseason. 15 pts at Xmas etc..etc..
