The two photos compared are even more pertinent after KK talked about this moment last night. He fronted up to hundreds of fans booing him for the first time at Newcastle. How did he respond? With dignity and class. Two words I’d never associate with Ashley; demonstrated perfectly tonight.

'Fronted up'.

Just got back, he pulled in at least 10 Northumbria Police officers to help him make his escape, the fucking coward.

Should be charged. He deliberately put himself in a position that would require police attendance for him to leave safely.

"What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Italian meal?"

I know you are making a joke there, but in case anyone was confused, I mean charges as in billed, not arrested.

Stifler raises a good point tbf.

section 25 of The Police Act (1996):

“The Chief Officer of police of a

police force may provide, at the

request of any person, special police

services at any premises or in any

locality in the police area for which

the force is maintained, subject to

the payment to the local policing

body of charges on such scales as

may be determined by that body.”

That’s something we should all have to message Northumbria police about.

Heroes the lot of them. That video may just be a significant moment in this whole saga.

You'd of f***ing hoped so, should be on the Chron front page.

If their writers have any balls they'll lead with "Two fingers up to fans from Ashley"

Surprised he didn’t wear the big jeans for such a special occasion. On a side note though, why has that video of him giving the fingers wound me up so much. The fucking cunt that he is.
