That’s fair. But isn’t it a Saudi club that want him?

I don't think it's a PIF owned club though.

If I remember it correctly when  reports first dropped that a Saudi club was looking for a keeper included in the list was dubs. If true it may be that it's now or never. I know finances aren't an issue over there but they don't have to "do us a favour" and just wait for the summer and get him for nothing. Still think if they are willing to drop a fee on him it's now or  never to "cash in".

Great way to end. Perfect start, perfect end. Well done, some redemption story before going to coin it in.

Has anyone else ever book ended their NUFC career with such a sublime couple of performances?

So that's Odysseas in goal next game? Pope back?

Hard to tell the presser Eddie said that he's now back on the grass whatever that means but not in full training.

I can't think of any. Well done dubs. I've been his biggest critic but even I'm buzzing for him and this stint.

If that was his last game for us, his time here have been bookended by two absolute quality performances, both today, and that debut against Man United. :icon_salut:

As his biggest hater on the forum, this has tugged at my heart strings.

Glad hes bowing out on the back of a huge win and a top performance, which is the exact same way he bowed in.

Good luck to him.

Oh well. If Dubravka wants to go right now, we shouldn't hold him back. He deserves it. He has been absolutely mint lately.

One of the lads on here said after he was recalled from Man United "They should clap him in chains and hoy him into the Tyne".

Quite the redemption. He's been solid replacing Popey and good luck to him.

When he came back in last season if he left in the summer he would have snuck out the back door to next to no fan fare least this way he has had a mini redemption arch and if we do get this magic 5 to 7 million he's help the cause financially as well fair play 👏👏👏
