Watching our game with Fulham, even tho both teams are poor quality Premier league teams both are absolute light years ahead of what a watched at The Stadium if Light yesterday.

I don't think Newcastle and Sunderland have ever been further apart.

Having said that though, I wouldn't want to face them while we're still managed by cabbageheed regardless how quality our players are.

There was an article in the athletic about them and most the comments are Manchester United fans ripping the piss ?

As a fan of another League One club (Oxford United) I would suggest that a vast majority of the Sunderland support need to learn some humility before they can progress. A constant of their time in League One has been an arrogance and sense of entitlement that emanates from their fans, particularly on social media. A quick visit to their message board or Twitter, after a defeat, shows comments such as "we shouldn't even be playing shite like this" etc, and until that attitude changes they are unwittingly heaping more pressure on their team and motivating their opponents.

Sunderland will have a fourth season in League One, and that's no fluke, it's where they currently belong, it's on merit, and sorry to say it guys, the rest of us are laughing at you. Not because you're a big club in League One (so what, you're not the first), but because of the way your fans disrespected the rest of us (and many still do) and took success at this level for granted.

You may not like hearing it, but that's how most League One fans view you.

I love how Moyes has just given West Ham their best season in the Premier League era too. Allardyce bailed at the perfect time. They were circling the bowl for about 5 years but the year they finally dropped was one job too far.

****True facts****

1. In the 1400s a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb.

Hence we have 'the rule of thumb.'

2. Many years ago in Scotland , a new game was invented. It was ruled 'Gentlemen Only...

Ladies Forbidden'... and thus the word GOLF entered into the English language.

3. Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history:

Spades - King David,

Hearts - Charlemagne,

Clubs -Alexander the Great,

Diamonds - Julius Caesar

4. In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bed frames by ropes. When you pulled on the ropes the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the phrase......... 'goodnight, sleep tight.'

5. It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink.

Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month, which we know today as the honeymoon.

6. Since 2017, Sunderland fans have said they are going to win the league at the start of every football season, hence the phrase ‘deluded twat’.
