Although he is very important to how we play but his decision making has been poor IMO. With that said i think it's mad to change anything really tbh. This take is shite Really don't see it tbh, there's been loads of occasions where he misplaced easy passes and attacks fell down because he failed to control a football and ignored open players to shoot through a pack of defenders. All in all I'm struggling to see why he's getting praised. In terms of link up play and helping to build attacks Sterling has been far better yet for some reason is getting way more criticism. Lingard’s energy has been crucial, his end product needs improving but his constant movement has disrupted defensive shapes and created space for us to play in. Alli is really struggling so him scoring was great. We can do Croatia with our set pieces and need to test their fitness, quick and safe early on and see how they shaping up after an hour. That’s a genuine question, I had no doubts about wanting to lose if it meant that we missed the top spot. We could potentially get to the final in pretty good physical shape and mentally fit. Belgium were outplayed by Brazil for 45minutes. Despite having the game right where they wanted. France should win this, but Belgium has the individual quality to surprise them. Still, unless they get an early fluke goal I think France will beat them by two goals or so. France looks more solid than I imagined before the tournament and it’s a golden chance for them to win it all. Even if I think and hope you lot will somehow win it.
