I understand the negativity due to the off the field stuff but we'll be closer to 10th than we will to relegation. Ritchie for Atsu was a poor sub. Muto and Rondon both look like handfuls for defenders in their own way. Hopefully Yedlin's injury is not anything serious but I doubt it knowing our luck. If football was as simple as team A spent X therefore are better than team B who spent Y, it would be a pointless game. Odear Posted August 11, 2018 Share Posted August 11, 2018 I was very impressed with Muto, looked very sharp and has real pace and stronger than he looks. Going on what I’ve seen today. Take Joselu and Perez out for Rondon/Muto and we'll be a different prospect. Diame grew into it in second half but he was well off the pace in the first. Spurs couldn't get out of second, or whatever gear they were in. We were a threat throughout and they knew it. If they had moved up a gear it would have been because we were no competition. These could've been goals on a different day. Outside of Atsu, Dummett and Yedlin, our team played well, think at home we can at least compete with any team. As an aside, I just want to publicly thank Atsu for making my un-acted upon chances in life not seem all that bad. I can't remember the last time a substitute was that far below the quality of the player he was replacing. I don't even dislike him or anything, but that was a really bad performance.
