Guest
He seemed to have been a great person, cared for Leicester and the role it played for the fans and community. Even though we're not Leicester City fans we benefited from his ambition too, as I don't think any of us will forget that crazy enjoyable season Leicester were crowned as Champions. RIP all who lost their lives that night.
jackyboy
Always happens to the good people, great man. I am 74 years old and have had tears pouring down my cheeks just seeing those tributes. RIP all those who died.

Sho Time
An absolute tragedy, not just for the football club and their fans, but for the entire City of Leicester and especially the families of all of the 5 involved. RIP.

pinkeye
Since Saturday I think we have all been waiting for and expecting this news to be confirmed... Just seeing how the Leicester people are reacting is really heartbreaking, he seemed to be the perfect football club owner.... engaged in the club as well as the wider community, likeable and generous and an all round good guy. So sad how this sort of thing always seems to happen to the good guys! RIP to all involved, condolences to all of their friends and family.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Had Radio Leicester on in the drive into work this morning and what stood out so much was the range of people they had paying their respects, especially those from outside football, talking about what he’s done for the people, the city and other organisations. Absolutely lightyears ahead of Ashley.

Absolutely lightyears ahead of Ashley. Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, josef Stalin and Chairman Mao are light years ahead of Ashley man. Ashley does absolutely nothing like this guy done. Can you honestly see Mike Ashley getting plaudits and praise from players, employees and anyone really he came across. All the guy does is screw people over

Bimpy474
Aye, it's proper weird how people want to find a way to relate this back to Mike Ashley. Both have a chopper and own football clubs, one is great and spends money, the other is a utter tosser who has deliberately sabotaged his own club. Pretty easy to see the relation really. Comparisons to Ashley are understandable given how he seems to be a polar opposite owner to Vichnai, but social norms dictate that at a time when people are upset, want to grieve, or pay their respects, it's poor taste to be using tragedies like this to make a point or air your own grievances against someone or something else not directly related to the incident. On an internet forum that translates to keeping Ashley comparisons out of this thread. Even if you don't agree with those social norms, as I do, it's the way it is - using tragedies to point score will raise ire and disgust.

Unfortunately this desperately sad accident was a gift horse for idiots on social media, sometimes i wonder if people even care about what they say or do anymore.
