LiquidAK
That bit where he nicked it off Mbappe, and then basically kept it away from him for what felt like a solid minute before finally drawing the foul. Absolutely love it
Unlucky Luque
He loves the CL, like. First 20 mins against Dortmund (can't remember which game) he looked like one of the best wingers in the world. Genuinely world class. christ
Still not his biggest fan but he’s been on another level against Chelsea and PSG.
The Prophet
Brilliant performance last night, looked out on his feet in the second half.
AyeDubbleYoo
From now until he’s 35 could easily be the best period of his career. He’s not slowing down, he’s confident and maturing, with top coaches behind him. I’ve said before you could spend £100m and not replace what he offers, despite his limitations. joeyt
I think in the summer after Howe arrived he was possibly behind ASM, Fraser and maybe Murphy too and probably murmurings he would leave. He was great last night

vicente_14
Outstanding last night. Love him. Don't get some of the stick he gets, his work rate, enthusiasm and all round game are perfect for how we play.

Lush Vlad
I am a critic of his a lot of the time. As I do think a lot of his play in the final third can leave a lot to be desired. However, the last two games, he has been insanely good. Probably our best outfield player across both games. Aiston
Absolutely brilliant again last night. Has many more years with us hopefully.
Lotus
Had a bad feeling he picked up a knock or a strain last night….
Kid Icarus
Thought he was truly exceptional last night like. Probably his most well-rounded performance for us and despite blowing out of his arse in the second half he was still the one nicking in with tackles and pressing hard. NE27
I sometimes call him out for inane runs into nowhere and being a bit wild, but last night he did it to such good effect man. Love him, so decent and it's infectious, one of the good guys.
Dr.Spaceman
Can't believe the player he's turned into, he's absolutely brilliant, taken his game up a few levels since joining. Who'd have thought after those first 20 odd games that he'd become so assured both on and off the ball?

Newcastle Fan
We really needed to upgrade him in the summer, his end product is not what is required however he definitely gives it his all when he on the pitch.
The Butcher
Workrate and pace. His only qualities. As an attacking player that's nowhere near enough. We're desperate for a new RW.
Shak
Just now, The Butcher said: Workrate and pace. His only qualities. As an attacking player that's nowhere near enough. We're desperate for a new RW. He's turned into a pretty good finisher too IMO. I often get frustrated with him for taking on a shot when there's a better option available but that break today just after they scored the first shows why it's probably for the best that he keeps doing it. Was an easy pass to Isak and it was so, so bad what he served up. Can't imagine it's much fun to play with for our other attackers, he creates almost nothing for his teammates. 6 assists in 160 Premier League appearances now. Only 3 since Howe took over too so it's not like he can blame previous managers not using him well.

Scoot
Hes been great and improved no end since Howe came in, but his end product at times is genuinely infuriating like! Would like to think we look at a right wing upgrade in the summer.
Ronaldo
He makes the wrong runs and plays the wrong pass so often. Shame because I’ve never seen anyone work harder but I don’t think it would be difficult to get a significant upgrade.

Kudus, Palmer, Diaby spring to mind.
