Benwell Lad
Why does he have to be like someone? aye it seems a lot of people want to liken him to a former flair player. His style looks quite unique to me from what I've seen, perpetual motion, very attacking, but as he showed once again on Saturday, very willing to get back and track when needed. jackyboy
I may not watch the Brighton game because he's not playing. He has brought a new level to the team and I love his attitude
DJ_NUFC
Seeing as we've already got a system that works, time to pull a Pardew a la Everton, put Rondon on the wing to fill Miggy's hole and it's Joselu Time, baby.
Collage
Why does he have to be like someone? Comparing players is fun though HBA better individually, Almiron the better team player. A bit like Robert v Solano, maybe
Astroblack
Not this week but last week there was a lot of talk of him needing to score a goal. Because of this, I think he took that Luuk De Jong type shot from way out instead of passing to Rondon. He needs to score - great but I’d rather he stick to basics like he did in his first few games. Course he’s injured now but even for next season.

Course he’s injured now but even for next season. I agree. There's been far too much attention on him looking for his first goal. The attack in general looks far more effective with him and that's all we need.
mrmojorisin75
Muto too atsu deserves nothing...muto had a few games and looked like he could actually produce then AC and injuries kicked in atsu will never produce anything man
Happinesstan
I think Atsu will produce now that the pressure is off.
Yorkie
Muto too atsu deserves nothing...muto had a few games and looked like he could actually produce then AC and injuries kicked in atsu will never produce anything man Seriously harsh on Catsu. He has virtually no end product whatsoever but he's ultimately done well enough in the role Rafa has asked of him. Attacking, brings the ball forward, links with Ritchie, always positive - just doesn't have the tekkers. He's basically Almiron-lite.
thenige
Would rather see Muto given the opportunity but judging from what Rafa said in the past, not entirely sure he sees him as capable of filling that wide support role. Atsu seems like a lovely bloke from his charitable stuff and has decent ability but realistically don't think he's cut out to be a consistent PL standard player. Deuce
Muto doesn’t strike me as wide player. He’s best spelling Ayoze as that second striker.
AyeDubbleYoo
Muto’s more like the Pérez role.
HaydnNUFC
Almiron and Perez both come inside and act as some sort of second striker, the latter especially hence all of the goals he gets. Almiron stays wide a lot more than Perez though, probably due to the fact that he has 2 men on him every time he receives the ball with the defending team in front of him, so it pulls 2 defenders out towards him creating space behind for a runner. I can't see Muto having that same effect if he goes into Almiron's role so we'd have to rely on Ritchie getting forward a lot more for putting crosses into the box. STM
Noticed this on Twitter, why are people making out that Perez and Almiron play in different positions? They play in different styles obviously, Perez doesn't have the pace to get in behind like Miggy but he's a better poacher. Ultimately, Muto should be fine coming in but I just think Atsu is next in line. God knows why, he's offered nowt recently.
HaydnNUFC
Atsu's fine, I think. End product poor more often than not but he's been okay when he's come in.

He has a bit of pace but really does anything with it.
