Lotus
Almiron is a better player on the left. More composed, better vision and passing.
alexf
Fantastic today I thought. Helped that Cucurella is complete bobbins in my opinion and clearly a weak area that we targeted. He feels like a really senior player for us now, who never hides.

I wish we'd see more of him on the left. Also, I think starting him there the odd time would be a real problem for the opposition because they set up their fullbacks expecting otherwise. I definitely think when things are going against us, him and Gordon should swap, Gordon will cause problems anywhere he plays.
TRon
This guy is a complete enigma. No goals yesterday but he looked so sharp and clever on the ball. He was turning Chelsea players inside out with his movement and clever touches. Honestly thought he was the best player on the pitch for us over 90 mins, he really caused them all sorts of problems. The Butcher
Really good pass for Gordon's goal and that makes it 6 assists in 157 PL games, according to premierleague.com
Pata
Fantastic. He basically did a 100 yard (measured it in Finnish broadcast) sprint to press alone and nick the ball from one of the best RBs in the world to set up the first Isak chance. Also some lovely work keeping possession and winning freekicks under pressure in the first half a la prime Jonas. madras
Could easily make an argument for Miggy to be our player of the season so far

magvicar
Miggy is fantastic. He's running on duracell.
LiquidAK
That bit where he nicked it off Mbappe, and then basically kept it away from him for what felt like a solid minute before finally drawing the foul. Absolutely love it
Unlucky Luque
He loves the CL, like. First 20 mins against Dortmund (can't remember which game) he looked like one of the best wingers in the world. Genuinely world class. christ
Still not his biggest fan but he’s been on another level against Chelsea and PSG.

AyeDubbleYoo
From now until he’s 35 could easily be the best period of his career. He’s not slowing down, he’s confident and maturing, with top coaches behind him. I’ve said before you could spend £100m and not replace what he offers, despite his limitations. joeyt
I think in the summer after Howe arrived he was possibly behind ASM, Fraser and maybe Murphy too and probably murmurings he would leave. He was great last night

vicente_14
Outstanding last night. Love him. Don't get some of the stick he gets, his work rate, enthusiasm and all round game are perfect for how we play.
