What has happened to Brentford the last few games? Confidence seems shot. They were the team with the momentum but now, they look the weakest of the playoff teams.

Impossible to keep winning week after week. Missing out on auto will have drained them aswell. They go into the play-offs disappointed whereas Swansea go in excited and feeling grateful they sneaked in.

Fair play to Mourinho too this season. They were 12 behind Chelsea & Leicester when he took over, they ended up 3 behind Leicester and within 7 of Chelsea.

Just seen the Bournemouth goals, Pickford looks really poor, not just a one off either he has cost Everton a lot of goals this season.

Fulham look miles better than us  we’re in trouble next year, big time.

£35m budget plus player sales. Not great is it.  Really relying on Joelinton becoming a passable PL striker or else we're absolutely fucked.  Can't fluke another season like this one, your luck just expires eventually.

Interesting, like. It’s not like they’re going against the Premier League about it or about being relegated, but if Hawkeye have promised a product that they’ve all signed up to and been told it would be 100% accurate for instance, they’d have a claim. Guess it depends on the agreement.

You'd figure somewhere in contracts there'd be a disclaimer that it can't guarantee absolute 100% accuracy? Either way, will be interesting to see the outcome for sure.

It's that time of year where the Guardian writers pick their end of season awards.

A few years ago Louise Taylor said the Best Player of the season was Sam Clucas (the year Hull got relegated). This year her Player of the Season is.... John Egan

I'm sure it can't promise 100% accuracy. Also, it didn't get them relegated any more than any other goal that was scored or wasn't scored due to loads of other factors across the season.

I'd be very surprised if they decide to claim.
