Tsunami
Rondon, once he got up to speed he’s been fantastic.
HaydnNUFC
Between Schär, Dubravka, Rondón or Perez for me. Probably Rondón, he's been the perfect striker for Rafa's system. Get some better players around him and we're cooking on gas.
Conjo
Rondon because even when he doesn't score he usually plays well. We would have been relegated comfortably without him. Agreed. That being said, I think we would have been relegated if we had Muto instead of Perez, Elliott instead of Dubravka or whomever would have deputized for Hayden during the second half of the season. We would probably have been fine with Fernandez or Clarke in place of Schar though, but that shouldn't be an argument for not praising Schar for his performance this season. xLiaaamx
Had to go with Schar because we look useless without someone to play it out from the back.

Raconteur
1. Perez 2. Rondon 3. Schar 4.Dubs 5. Hayden Honorable mention of Longstaff for the games he played, but too few to consider him. Same top five for me, but swapping Hayden for Dubravka.
loki679
Who the fuck voted for Kenedy? He saved us £30m tbf.
Infinitely Content
Went with Schar. First season, defender, 3.5m, probably expected him to be bit part, but in reality he's been one of the league's best centre backs this season whilst providing some spectacular moments in attack. He's also the classiest player we've had since Cabaye left.
Benwell Lad
Plenty in with a shout. All the defenders have done well, Dummet's displays since returning, over a season would have made him a contender but Schär has probably been top man. Ritchie probably shades it out of the midfielders due to consistency and desire to compete whatever the situation, but a big shout for Hayden too. All the summer arrivals have had their moments despite the negativity that surrounded them, KSY, Schar, Fernandez, Dubravka all excellent, only Kenedy has disappointed. Ayoze has been sublime this year and as Ian W said could well have been the difference between a fairly relaxed end to the season and a nailbiter, but overall for me it has to be Rondon. He's been mostly superb, scored all types of brilliant goals, played a target man/lone striker role in a Benitez set up to near perfection and throughout shown great character with a lovely smile on his face. It's been a really good second half of the season, some really good football, brilliant matches and most of us looking forward to the next match positively for the first time in a while. AyeDubbleYoo
It’s a funny old world being an NUFC fan like. Probably 5 or 6 solid contenders for player of the season, almost everyone did well and we’ll still end up with a depressing points total. Pretty weird when you think about it. First season, defender, 3.5m, probably expected him to be bit part, but in reality he's been one of the league's best centre backs this season whilst providing some spectacular moments in attack. He's also the classiest sexiest player we've had since Cabaye left. fyp
Ameritoon
Picked Rondon since he was more consistent throughout the season than Ayoze or Schar. Lejeune would have a good chance without the injuries

AyeDubbleYoo
Ridiculous that Schar cost less than Will Grigg. He cost less than nearly everyone TBF, that’s why we could sign him.

Guest dabe
Perez, Rondon, Schar. They've all contributed to our best moments and each are deserving.
Yorkie
Funny when folk put every single player in these polls. It's between Muto and Manquillo for me, like.
Rebellious
1. Perez 2. Rondon 3. Schar 4.Dubs 5. Hayden Honorable mention of Longstaff for the games he played, but too few to consider him. Same
Stottie
Voted Rondon, ahead of Ayoze because he got going earlier in the season.

Guest
Shame Rondon wasn't fit at the start of the season. Think we'd have had another 4-6 points.
