The most crutial thing to happen is to get Ashley out of this club, hopefully Rafa will still be there also but if not and we have new owners willing to invest and take the club forward then so be it. Similar comments were said for the last 2 takeovers and they both eventually collapsed. Nobody knows and the journalists don't have a clue either. Until there is any official announcement then take everything with a pinch of salt. The statement was there saying the fit and proper test was taking place and that does not happen unless proof of funds have been forthcoming and an agreement is in place (as per statement). I don't think you realise how big reputations for business is over in the Gulf, especially for a member of the royal family. I agree hypothetically with what you said about them clearly having ambition if that was the case. The article is nonsense though. Why would they want to come in and get rid of a manager that is on par with the others mentioned and risk alienating the fans and players.
