Collymore is f***ing bang on there. Absolutely spot on. Should send that around social media and ask the local journos why the c*** gets a free ride every pissing week.

August 2019 that, on back of us being a bag of shit two games in under Bruce - before Spurs away game! Nothing changed 18months on.

Cabbage heed is like the Trump of the football World. Brought in to replace a highly popular figurehead, denying the previous regime did any good while making sure any positives they did are swiftly removed, all while spouting a load of bullshit in the hope that people believe that he's doing the right thing.

That, and he looks like he'd melt under hot lights

Liam Kennedy made some interesting points on Wraith's show last night about press conferences. They're all done over Zoom now and if you have to click the rained hand icon and wait to be asked to ask a question. It sounds like most of them time, you only get to ask one question and can't follow it up. The person running the meeting might then go to a reporter from a national rag who won't ask Bruce questions about him and more on the game. In normal life, questions would be bounced straight back to any answers so he's literally getting away with it in that aspect never mind without fans being at the grounds!

He will say we are a "work in progress" until he leaves. Clever way to bat away any criticism

Not seeing much progress though are we?

We are in terms of Mike Ashley's ambitions. We are progressing towards 16th/17th position.

Been saying it's morally wrong for football to continue

"“Financially it’s right to play on,” Newcastle United’s manager said. “But, morally, for me it’s probably wrong.”

“The speed which it hit our club within a week and ripped through everyone was scary,” said Bruce. “It’s difficult to contain and it leaves people sick. Jamaal has been give the go-ahead [to play again] by the doctors so it’s now just about he feels but Allan is going to take time. There’s so many symptoms and problems after the virus it’s been difficult”

The bloke's lost it. Come out and say this a couple of weeks ago when it was rife in the club, not further down the line once everyone is back in training, and he's further in the shit with results/performances. All he was spouting out was that he wasn't going to use Covid as an excuse, despite clearly doing so.

'Morally wrong', when the players are getting numerous tests each week and top level medical care; all the while thousands are losing their jobs across the country, and certain sectors are thankful to still be able to work.
