Shak
Aye he’s always shite when he plays up front is the issue though.
Rich
Howe’s already said he wouldn’t move him back there.

Possibly playing a Firminho role linking play whilst the wingers run deep. Frees up a position for Ramsey in midfield. To be fair, I can barely think of a player in our team less capable of playing that role effectively.
OverThere
I haven't seen anyone in the (current) squad who can. Not one.
Moose
What manager in their right mind would think about putting this specimen, tailor made for midfield domination up front?! Oh yeah, Steve Bruce.
Mazzy
The sheer size of the guy compared to how he was would be a help to playing as a 9 now. He wasn't small before but he was certainly a little lightweight for his height. But as others have said, it won't happen, the only way we ever see him play as a 9 again is through a very serious injury crisis. Gordon, Barnes, Elanga, Osula and whatever two strikers we have at the start of the season would all need to be out for him to be back there. I would like to see him at LW again a few times this season though, it has worked very well against certain teams before and he's very effective there in certain situations. His playing style is likely to catch up with him over the next couple of years.

Nagglesmann mostly played him as part of 2 up front, and also moved him out wide regularly. So naturally Brucie stuck him up front entirely on his own and had Dubravka pump long balls at his head for 90 minutes.

Lush Vlad
I’d rather play him up front than Gordon. But that is hardly a ringing endorsement. As I think Gordon is absolutely atrocious up there and a complete waste of time.

Zero
I would say Joe will decide our season. If he is performing at his best and free from injury, we can keep our league position despite without Isak or a proper ST. We need you one more season big Joe. Ben
I wonder how long it takes Joelinton to cripple the very lightweight and naive Wirtz next week.

gbandit
If Eddie does manage to get Osula consistently scoring and impacting games it’ll be a huge achievement given he’s one of the most chaotic players I’ve seen. He has enough talent to make it but fuck knows if his brain can make it all work

Didn’t Willock have one of his best goal scoring seasons that year?
