I don't rememeber a player making me laugh like Big Joe. I piss myself when he gans radge - celebrating or at an opposition player. I also find myself shouting Joe man!! a lot (don't get sent off!) but it's so full of love.

When he got booked for a (blatant) dive v. Leeds last week and had the audacity to lose his shit at the ref.

Very good this evening. His assignment tonight was quite interesting, especially first half. Basically was man-marking and holding in an almost false 9 position. Sometimes was even ahead of #9. That positioning was key in the first goal and a nice lil layoff to Wissa.

When he's playing well and the opponents aren't sitting low block, he's massively effective!

It's been a slow build up over recent games but today the monster was released. It looked like he was playing against some kids, just bullied everyone who got close to him.

I don’t think it has been a slow build up? Wasn’t his sort of game on Sunday. But he’s been one of our best players in basically every game since returning, IMO.

My MOTM tonight.

Linked up the play superbly from midfield going forward and more importantly is able to get up and support our isolated forwards. Easily MOTM for me.

Not sure we've seen that 4-4-2 shape off the ball much if at all this season?  He used to often press from there and be the furthest forward.

I noticed a few times Tonali dropped in between the CB's and sat deeper, as well.  But not as much as someone else on here suggested.  So that must have been a clear instruction for both of them and it totally nullified PSG.

Probably pick of a good bunch last night. Looked physically back to peak in moments.

Games like that suit him massively. Can press high and aggressive and win the ball in good areas.

Games like the Wolves game are where he struggles and probably where we should be trying something different to add a bit more creativity.
