Shays Given Tim Flowers
Never seen a Manchester United team look so non-threatening, absolutely awful. Yesterday was a shit game between two shit teams. First time I've watched us since Rafa left. Chuffed for the Longstaffs.

huss9
Wow, The radio Newcastle, Peter drury worldwide PL feed, and nbc Clive feed all were fun to watch for the commentary on matty’s goal. Radio and Drury were far superior. is there a link to this?
Froggy
Only a couple more losses until Froggy discovers he had a great grandfather from Liverpool. Aren't you from Sweden or some shit? Imagine whinging at your squad when you've just spent £130m on defenders Money spent isn't really relevant is it. The squad needs a lot more than £130m spent on it. Not to mention £50m of said £130m was injured You complain about Ashleys spending and he dropped £70m in the Summer? Not as black and white as that though is it? Froggy
£40m net spend, mindblowing And we sold Lukaku for £75m so our net spend isn't a great deal higher.
Guest
Still had a centre-back playing who cost more than our 3 most expensive players (all played) in our history put together.
TRon
I know they’ve got injuries, but how many of that Man U team would get into the Leicester or West Ham sides never mind the top 5 clubs’? Maguire, De Gea at a push but not too much better than Schmeichel. Chilwell, Evans, Pereira, Tielemans, Ndidi, Maddison & Vardy would all get into this Man Utd team today. This is 100% right, so why does the manager who's only had 1 transfer window get all the blame? Maguire, James and Wan-Bissaka, the three players he signed in said window, are currently our three best performers. Fergie in his pomp would struggle with that side yesterday. Fair enough mate, you hang onto Ole. Hope that goes well for you.

That's what good players cost now. Joelinton was 3 times the price of Alan Shearer ffs. So that is a terrible argument to put forward.

Raconteur
Surprised they did this, tbf. Enjoyed that - especially three guys who have absolutely no love for the Toon. Gary Neville can eat a dick, but he’s right when he says that the Toon fans who went today went home saying “That’s why we go.” I wanted us to lose, but I got a huge buzz for Shortstaff and, let’s face it, beating Man Yoo is always good. Even when Pardew did it. Massively conflicted. Probably best we go on a ten game losing streak now.
Dinho lad
I wouldn’t say Neville particularly hates NUFC.
AyeDubbleYoo
I wouldn't say getting rid of Lukaku and putting Rashford centre-stage was a mistake TBH, although obviously they look a bad side.

It's obviously relevant, when that £80m spent on Maguire could have been spent elsewhere if your squad is so shite. This is just one summer after you dropped £40m on Lindelöf as well, so in just a year you have spent over £150m on defenders. As for "Ashley" spending £70m this summer, it is on the back of chronic under investing for years. Don't think that could be said for your lot, can it? You've spent crazy money in the last few years. AyeDubbleYoo
It seemed like Rashford was being held back though, and ready for a starting CF role. To me, anyway. Look at Chelsea, Abraham is bossing it. Obviously a signing would have been sensible anyway, even someone experienced as backup.
Kanj
Froggy picking fights on a Newcastle fans forum defending his beloved Man United Trying to make comparisons between a club that spunked loads of cash on top quality talent over the past 5 years and has won everything there is to be won as a football club versus a club who paid compensation for Steve Bruce and finally spent some money on some unproven talent. Just following the media narrative tbf to him, Man U fans are much worse done by with the Glazers than we are with Ashley.
