It's difficult to shake anything up when your attacking options are so limited. Joelinton is hopeless but the three of them are not remotely suited to each other and the options in reserve are all really poor players at this level. Carroll, Gayle, Muto - all dogshit. Fail to see how he's gonna be able to get a tune out of any combination. S'what happens when your recruitment is dictated by things other than gameplans and football strategy. We have bought simply on potential. It’s well known that ASM and Joelinton have the same agent. The only reason we got Joelinton is because the club are willing to put the fee down as larger (to appease the fans) and to ensure that the agent gets a load of money, which some of which will comeback in Ashley’s pocket somewhere along the line. All of a sudden ASM had a bust up with his manager and his agent threw up a similar scenario to Charnley to help Nice shift him and so he gets another payout. We are literally hoping they score a few goals or look half decent so that we can sell them for a little bit more than what we paid for them because they now have Premier League experience.
