Can that useless c*** not strike a ball cleanly and with any conviction

That was good play by him ffs

Shite first touch then scuffed the shot lol

The first touch was class. Even Robbie Savage could see that. Poor shot though.

Seriously?? If you think that was good play then you've not been watching decent strikers much have you. The first touch was shit and the scuffed weak effort sums the absolute plank up hes fucking rotten at everything he does

Nice play by Yedlin

Think he looks much more threatening when he doesn't cross and just drives into the box.

He checks his runs so often which is infuriating. Just run at your man. You're almost always quicker than him.

Only three teams have conceded more goals than Rochdale in League 1 this season; including obviously an absolutely broken Bolton Wanderers and one of the worst teams in the world in Southend United.

Quite incredible our inability to score considering how much time we've spent in the opposition third.

Crossing the ball high isn't really a very efficient way of scoring. We should be focusing on trying to pull it back low like our goal, Muto's chance, Joelinton's chance there and Matty Longstaff had a chance earlier also. Wasting our time flinging it in high

We'd be a much better team & Joelinton might get some better chances if someone were to just tell him run towards the near post and tell the wide players aim for the guy at the near post.  Joelinton always seems to be waiting for the ball quite deeply so any crosses that do get put in need to beat 2-3 players before he even gets a chance at a header.  Get him moving to the near post & he'll have a chance at getting the ball before the defence, plus he'll drag defenders with him and create space for a cut-back pass into the centre to a player running into the box.

That might require a coach with an ounce of sense though, so not very likely.

Robbie Savage's half-term report: Every Premier League club rated and slated

Steve Bruce was absolutely hammered when he was appointed as Rafa Benitez’s successor, and strikers who cannot score have not helped.

But he is seven points better off than Rafa at the same stage last season and he is doing OK. Humble pie, anyone?

BT Sport apologise live on air after Robbie Savage ‘w*****’ chants during Newcastle FA Cup clash

Robbie Savage was labelled a “w*****” by fans during his commentary on Newcastle 's FA Cup visit to Rochdale today, forcing BT Sport to issue an apology live on air.

The Magpies have made the trip to League One outfit Rochdale in the third round of the FA Cup, with Miguel Almiron firing them in front after 17 minutes at Scotland Stadium.

Almiron produced a powerful strike to break the deadlock and leave the visiting supporters in raptures - which seemed to distract some in attendance from directing cruel chants to Savage in the commentary box.

Around the 16th minute of the game, either Rochdale or Newcastle fans can be heard singing “Robbie Savage, you’re a w*****, you’re a w*****”.

74% possession? Christ, that’s pretty much the possession we have had for the entire season before this game.
