Just speculation on my part. Maybe Mashley is trapped in a contract that didn’t foresee this and so he can’t back out either. Might account for the complete confidence the buyers apparently have. Maybe they know it’s all done and dusted but they’re the ones procrastinating so as not to incur that debt if it happens when they are the owners. Let Piggy pay it back.
