Well the UK Government have not been able to stop the IPTV app, so how can  they expect the Saudis too

This how can we expect to hold the saudi’s to such a high standard of policing this, when nearly every fu#%er in my office is watching illegal streams every weekend ?

Should we not be getting our own house in order first.

I just don’t see this stopping the takeover, Simon Bird seems to have joined the negative story club lately.

Is it not that they think the saudis were actually behind/hosting the dodgy streams etc? I'll admit I haven't really read much about the ins and outs of it, but I'm fairly certain that the whole thing isn't because there are illegal streams in Saudi

But how many countries across the world are behind / hosting dodgy streams ? It’s not my specialist subject but I’m guessing there’s a few.

Regardless the government have said they’ll raise this with Saudi govt, but they have not got involved in takeover which is the crucial aspect.

It sounds like nothing more than paying lip service to me, we’ll have a word just to look like where concerned, but where not getting involved really we don’t want to upset them.

You're right it is, obviously Mr Bird thinks it's down to the Saudis controlling the apps now

Disagree with him saying it won’t be much longer, it seems further away from a conclusion than ever before.

He doesn't have a clue

I agree though, that a conclusions seems some way off yet.

No one knows how close or how far the decision is and everyone is just guessing based on their own opinions.

If the reports today about needing an agreement between Saudi and Qatar is true, then we are going to be waiting forever.

You could say other reports suggest it's been close also. Nobody knows except for the Premier League and what stage they are at.

One of the main ones for Xtream Codes was in Italy, near Naples I think. The Italian police seized about 200 servers last year. Took over a month for a lot of IPTV providers to get going again.

Shame it wasn’t just about the human rights record, would have sailed through that within days. Rip off their football though, worse than scum and you can wait months.

Aye, this seems like it could be weeks/months away from a decision imo.

It’s gone from 1st May for a decision to mid May to 1st June and now it’s fuck knows

And in the meantime the club is just a Zombified mess, we still have staff on furlough for fuck sake, no refunds for tickets and money taken out for games we can't watch, IMO the Premier League have a duty of care to all the supporters of its 20 members, not a TV station in the desert.

Premier league are definitely leaking stuff though despite all this fully confidential line they keep saying.

This. They will happily sit there and do nothing as NUFC just sleep walks and the supporters are fucked over.

If Pete Graves is confident then the deal is all but off.

Pete is one of the nicest block around even from the Jan onwards he was that one who was saying this thing is happening.

Being one of the nicest blokes around doesn't bring home the takeover.

Leave themselves wide open for a lawsuit if they are mind, especially if it get's knocked back, as that could lead to claims of prejudicing the test. Not saying you're wrong, but again it's just guessing (as we all have) as nothing concrete has came out.
