WilliamPS Posted Friday at 19:58 Share Posted Friday at 19:58 If it emerged Osula is going out on loan, and a new striker is coming in then this makes a bit more sense

r0cafella Posted Friday at 23:17 Share Posted Friday at 23:17 My concern about keeping Cal is the potential connotations that comes with it. It means we may not have the budget/allocating the budget elsewhere rather than replacing him. It also means we Flog Isak again. Let's see what the rest of the window brings. Agreed - if we’re not careful isak will be finished as well by the time we’re done with him. This is one of the two areas Howe needs improving on (the other being rotation), he’s done, unreliable, shite when he’s on the pitch now and as rawe as big will may seem he also scored more than Wilson last season. I think it's a little bit different with Wilson. Yeah he binned off Fraser, but they had history of Fraser been a little twat. You can tell he has a very close relationship with Wilson, you could see at the end of the Everton game he looked a bit emotional towards Wilson doing his lap of honour. I don't see any logic in offering Wilson a new deal, the only scenario it could be ok is if we signed a new striker and Osula goes on loan.
