Plus he didn't do that much different even in his pomp. Other than miss, but we've seen Isak miss so many one on ones this season.

Steady on. He’s missed about 3 in 30 games of football or thereabouts.

Strikers miss chances, it doesn't mean they are finished, that was my point. I said this even when Isak was missing them and people were moaning.

If Wilson is finished, it isn't because he missed the one on one yesterday.

Wilson and Willock taken over from Longstaff and Burn (at LB) as this season's scapegoats now?

positive with Wilson is he's getting more minutes under his belt

hopefully if he's called upon in the final at some stage then he could make an impact

Did much better than expected. While it's a severe downgrade on Isak, I don't think him starting against Brighton and West Ham if Isak isn't ready is a crisis, although I'd prefer Osula to be given a shot.

Can’t be starting against Brighton, can he?

Isn’t two starts in a week what always ends up fucking him up? Things like that and the wind changing direction.

Think he was as good as he could have been tbh and always takes him a bit of time to get back up to speed, we created pretty much nothing for him, he does look like he's lost a bit of pace though.

Bit "rusty", is all. Not sure what people expect.

How could he be a scapegoat for this season? He literally hasn’t contributed since the spring.

He's been resting for a year tbf, two starts in a week shouldn't be too much of a stretch. I think Howe would rather play Isak, will depend on if he's still feeling the groin. I doubt he would start Osula.

I guess it has been how he recovers and the extra stress his already injury prone body is put under.

I’m sure he’ll start if all the data clears him to play. Isak on the bench even if he is fit, I reckon. We didn’t have Bunce and his team here before for all this stuff.
