Embarrassing as fuck for the dickheads involved. Exposed themselves as parasitic scumbags and somehow still managed to sully their reputations further. Absolute fucking wankers.

This is a tremendous win for the common man!... Though I am still a bit worried now that it'll have a negative impact on any potential Saudi takeover, there's going to be such a focus on any new owners coming in.

Surely they can't change the test half way through. It does worry me a little bit that clubs might be going up for sale because we all know the Saudi's pass that test.

Really hope it drives some of the owners out that are purely in it for their own greed and have no actual interest in football or appreciation of the fans and history.

... I don't think it will though.

A good point actually could be that some of those twelve superleague scumbag clubs could suddenly be available for sale, they could be a more tempting purchase than us.

They didn’t need to. Besides, Mike won’t put out any statement that has any long term implications while he’s still engaged in trying to sell the club to the consortium.

was thinking about this.  PIF/PCP should offer to buy Man U and when the PL pushes through the ODT they then change their mind and then say "Nah, we want Newcastle!"

tbh ashley might have struggled at who to be annoyed at more, sure he's currently got a grudge against masters and the premier league but the sinister sixs plan could have affected any future sale price so they ain't any good either

Its amazing how much they've fucked themselves by doing this, not only have they made themselves look like contemptuous corrupt pricks, they've likely made the case for massive reform in football, and even if that doesnt happen they've lost all there leverage of the threat of a breakaway and a potential super league.

Souness saying "These Americans coming in and thinking they can bring in what they do over there, this is a proper country".

The absolute shade thrown at all of the US

 Let’s be mindful of glass houses, Graham.
