I hate that we’re going to have to win our own games to stay up rather than hoping everyone else keep losing.

Closer to Ashleys wet dream of 17th!

Liverpool have fucked it like. Cant see them picking up enough form to mount a challenge to City. Injuries have admittedly fucked them like.

Bloody J-Lingz.

x2

He's been brilliant, forgot what a good player he is when he's on form

Think I mentioned recently, hope he goes on to succeed. Clearly had some off-field issues past couple of years.

Think you're likely correct. Trouble he has at Brighton is to play that kind of football you really need quality players to pull it off week in week out (Bielsa at Leeds an obvious exception cos Bielsa). A good, prolific, if not top class striker, like Wilson or Antonio, allows for that kind of team set up by being able to take the chances that are created, without focusing training on the final 3rd so much. Focus on building from the back, good in possession, swift and smart in your passing and get forward quickly and in numbers. Then get it in the box and give whoever 3 chances a game and they get 1 or 2. Just because they can. Clearly struggles without that.

We could easily play that style and be a dangerous team. ASM, Miggy and Wilson in Brighton's team would shit all over us.

If we had Graham Potter we’d be on par with the likes of Leeds, Villa & Southampton imo.

And guess he who got him his start in management? Our very own Graeme Jones. Potter's story in the full article is crazy. Has had an amzazing career so far.

Then, in 2010, he was appointed manager of Östersunds on the recommendation of Swansea City‘s assistant manager Graeme Jones, who had played with Potter at Boston. Jones already had close links with the club having been out to Sweden to work with their young players before convincing Roberto Martinez to take the Swans there for pre-season tours when he was number two to the Spaniard at the Liberty Stadium. Östersunds were looking for a new boss and so Jones told their chairman to take a punt on this bloke coaching university football in England.

Think he’s similar to Hassnhuttl, just hasn’t got that number 9 like an Ings or Wilson that will convert the chances they make. They’d be comfortable mid-table with Wilson.

I like Maupay but think he’s not quite there yet.

4/4 one day just over a week ago, as well.

First time Liverpool have failed to score in 3 consecutive home games for 37 years. First time Liverpool have lost two in a row at home in 9 years. That doesn't happen with a full Anfield spurring them on. Not this team.
