He keeps saying the football under Benitez was "awful" and he gets "demoralised" going to watch us. Shifting the blame on how we play onto Ashley. Carragher says Benitez gave us hope. We know if the takeover happened, we've got a CL-winning manager. Compared us to Everton and the hope their fans have with Ancelotti in charge. Leaving out important info that Rafa teams always finish season much stronger and that we had a weaker squad that had just been promoted. I take his point that it is a bit irrelevant in the grand scheme when it is the owner and how he runs us that is the main issue.
