Shearergol Posted Monday at 16:47 Share Posted Monday at 16:47 On his day he’s one of my favourite players. Weirdly he doesn’t seem to ever be on his day though. incredibly talented, we’ve seen it. Maybe it’s a mindset thing.
80 Posted Monday at 17:01 Share Posted Monday at 17:01 Yes, I think it's a mentality thing compounded by injuries - or vice versa. And yes, he's regularly mentioned as the most fined, latest player in the squad. It's a real shame as his April 23 self would've been vital for us in this run in. Thought it was very telling that Eddie put 3 CBs out yesterday rather than squeezing him in for a 'must win' game.

I'm sure a couple of players mentioned it in a YouTube clip.

Hasn’t been able to put together performances since that really long injury lay off. I agree with you though and I think people forget his ability. It’s understandable I suppose. OoOGazOoO Posted Monday at 18:28 Share Posted Monday at 18:28 I used to be one of his biggest fans, but he just hasn't delivered for a long time. If it is true about £25m from Fulham, get the deal done.

The Butcher Posted Monday at 18:30 Share Posted Monday at 18:30 25m would be a fantastic deal for us. Be surprised if it's true.

Fulham have a bunch of ex-Arsenal midfielders (Alex Iwobi, Reiss Nelson & Emile Smith-Rowe), so it's one of those slightly believable things a fake-ITK can make up and have people swallow. nemtizz Posted Monday at 19:10 Share Posted Monday at 19:10 Anyone that posts Will and his brainless ITK cronies should only be able to post in the braindead twitter thread until next season starts.

Hide contents Aye, I've never really seen him being dug out for being unprofessional, just a bit mental. Interestingly, him and Willock appear pretty close, and as the older player it should really be Willock setting the example...
Shadow Puppets Posted Tuesday at 06:23 Share Posted Tuesday at 06:23 I’ve mentioned it before on here, but Willock is the only player I’ve interacted with in my role that has been unpleasant in any way. A couple of seasons ago I would have described him as rude / obnoxious, but more recently he seems to have mellowed by all accounts. I guess you can put that down to upbringing, or how different people deal with fame etc, but I guess it’s a positive that he seems to have improved his attitude. CallumG6 Posted Tuesday at 06:56 Share Posted Tuesday at 06:56 Get £15m for him and wish him good luck.
gbandit Posted Tuesday at 07:54 Share Posted Tuesday at 07:54 He was a much better fit for us when we were more of a counter attacking side. Not having space to run into + injuries have meant he just isn’t that useful anymore. If he can trust his body and not break down there are still a lot of sides that would be lucky to have him
Tiresias Posted Tuesday at 07:58 Share Posted Tuesday at 07:58 Good ball carrier for a counter attacking team. Feel he needs love and gametime to get to his best, he doesn't seem able to perform in 20 minute cameos and all his solid patches came after a run of starts in the side, and he's never going to get that again. Need to sell, lad did alright, one of the bright sparks of the 'brucey' years and played well for us in the first full Howe season but should be time for him to move on
JP Posted Tuesday at 08:13 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:13 Maybe works better in a worse team, since our levels have increased (particularly Bruno and Tonali in midfield) he looks way off it. He now carries the ball with little purpose and end result, the big part lacking to his game nowadays

1964 Posted Tuesday at 08:34 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:34 Never been convinced by willock, he never seems to have control of the ball. He knocks it 4 yards and runs after it, that's 90% of his game, but in those 4 yards it usually either out of play or intercepted
