He’s one of the few that looked decent today, wouldn’t have subbed him

Yeah that made zero sense unless he's injured. Was baffled how Wissa came out in the 2nd half and Willock didn't.

Yep. I wanted Ramsey to start in his place. Yet he was one of the only positives in the first half.

In fact, TBF to him. He is one of the only positives from the last 4 games. Granted it’s a low bar.

Both Ramsey and Willock fall into the category of "nearly a good player" for me. We seem to have quite a few of those.

Think you are right but also hard to tell when they don't even "nearly get a run of games" consistently. Its what both clearly need.

I think we all know that with Willock. Thats been his conundrum (outside multiple injuries - also a Ramsey complaint). At their best and fit they can be huge for us. We just don't have the time and points to sacrifice with their inevitable mediocre performances that happen getting them up to speed.

Its where I miss the old days of first team players playing in the reserves to get match fitness. Everything is so overloaded fixtures and highs takes wise, whether thats avoiding injury or not taking time away from youth players that also need it.

Sue the Premier League, should've flagged him immediately offside, if they had, he likely wouldn't have pulled it running through on goal.

Should have come off when Ramsey did. He was looking fucked from about 55 minutes

It won’t always work and it is probably more suited to away games like that one. But the legs of that front 3 and the runners either side of Bruno in the middle gives us some much needed energy and mobility.

Was the actual MotM tonight, he was everywhere. Good to see him finally looking like his old self.

He was fantastic, ran himself into the ground. That goal was beautifully taken and it wasn't offside either. Fuck VAR.

Great goal. Probably our best player first half and he soldiered on in the second. Good to see him putting a small run of form together, hopefully he can stay injury free until the seasons end.

Excellent tonight... If he can stay fit and keep going he will be useful. How many times have we said that though?

That's the issue, he yo-yo's between injuries form and out of form.  Definition of a confidence player.
