Sima Posted September 4, 2021 Share Posted September 4, 2021 I watched that Gary Neville/Roy Keane interview last night and Keane mentions how he has only had two jobs whereas other blokes have had 7,8,9 jobs without any great show of talent. it’s pretty clear who he’s getting at and Neville makes a point of saying that Keane doesn’t play the game with journalists, etc. Side note, Keane comes across really well in that interview and appears to have learned from mistakes made while manager of the mackems and Ipswich. His needs of his charges seem to be pretty much what I would look for. I used to think he was just a contrary nobhead but I can’t help but like the bloke. Apparently he's just waiting for the day that Ashley bins him. Work has finally started on his new house in Cheshire so he's looking for the pay-off to cover the cost of that.
