I got

Man City win the league as they obviously beat us

Was with us losing the derby as well.

Howeh now. Chelsea getting all the way back up to 5th and Palace only getting like 4 more points  Ne wonder we stay up with your optimism

Chelsea are back to being good and have winnable games. Palace are shite now and have an awful run of games.  We're 14th but look at the points, the whole bottom 8 is close together.  What I got from it, though I'll obviously be wrong with final positions is that we'll probably be in the bottom 3 until very close to the end, and it'll be proper close to us going down  I had us winning away to Villa. They'll be down by the time we go there, that could go one of two ways. They'll either have completely thrown the towel in or will be playing with no pressure and win

You try it if/when you have time, I expect you'll see Chelsea climb pretty rapidly

I just put 1-0 for a win and 0-0 for a draw though so GD doesnt count

just done that and got almost the same table- being as pessimistic as I thought i could-  had us above wba as well.

had us beating bournemouth, norwich ,villa, palace, swansea , and losing all the rest.

I went nuts and did it, despite how early it is:

Made me realise that Swansea have some pretty tough games ahead.

I basically picked us to win our home games and get brutally sodomised away from home. Dat GD.

Everyone with Bournemouth on 34 points?

Would mean 6 points from 12 games, after 18 from their last 12.

They have some pretty difficult games coming like. Man Utd, Chelsea, Lpool, City, Tottenham AND Newcastle away.

They've not exactly been in great form in the last month or so. The teams they've beaten have been pretty shite too.

I feel like mine ended up realistic. I am surprised

You have Tottingham Hotspurs winning the league and you think it looks realistic?

Spreadsheets!

I'm far too prepared for this draft. 77 players tracked and ranked in their various positions with max spending limits on the lot.

Gregory's Girl or what!

 "It's only a game"

"A game! Eight games in a row you've lost"

"Can't lose them all..."

That would be perfect scenario bigfella, makems down, us just safe and Leicester winning league.

Yep, I'd take that right now, didn't check the table as I was going either. And I had us to get our traditional derby day humping as well.

Can't figure out how to show predicted end of season table  :fool: but I had Arsenal winning on 79pts, (Spurs 78, Man City 74, Leicester 73). Us on 39 pts in 16th, followed by Swansea 33, Sunderland 31, Norwich 30 and Villa 17 (!!). First look at Sports Predictor website, thanks for sharing the link.

I had us sitting 14th too, albeit not by many points, it's going to be really tight at the bottom with what run ins some of those teams have, I had Leicester just missing out to Man City who clinch it after mauling us closely followed by Arsenal and Tottenham. I put us to lose the derby too but it wasn't enough to save the Mackems.

I have Arsenal winning the title on GD after Leicester stumbles on the final day at Stamford Bridge. mackems, Norwich, and Villa down. We barely survive.

My observations after going through that highly flawed exercise:

  • Barring a monumental collapse (not out of the question given the pressure and lack of experience), I don't see how Leicester finishes worse than 3rd. Remarkable.
  • Seems very likely Chelsea finish in the top 7.
  • I don't see any hope for Norwich. They will finish 19th.
  • The derby will very likely decide whether us or the mackems finish higher, and will likely determine who gets relegated.
  • We will probably be in the relegation zone until at least the derby and possibly into April. Going to be a serious test of nerves.
