Ronaldo
I think we need at least 2 points from the next 2 games, like.
cp40
if we dont get 3 points- ie catch norwich in the next 3 games- before they play again, its got to be over then. they would have games in hand and be above us.
midds
We'll need to win a game we always lose in order to stay up. Over the last few years we've written off City (H) and Liverpool (A) and the team has performed exactly how we all expected them to, this time if they do the same then we're definitely down. We need a rabbit, possibly 2, pulled form the hat and quite frankly I don't think they've got it in them. They needed to start giving a shit a few months ago, they needed to bin McClaren far earlier but we didn't and here we are.
sugoinufc
will 35 points be enough? it might be...but can we get another 7 points....
Ronaldo
Nah, one of Norwich and Sunderland will get to 36.

sugoinufc
Nah, one of Norwich and Sunderland will get to 36. Norwich will go down...with us.
Ronaldo
We need 8 points and superior goal difference to Norwich, basically.
TRon
Nah, one of Norwich and Sunderland will get to 36. Yeah. It pisses me off to hear the pundits all backing Sunderland, but if I was in their position I would do the same. All we did yesterday was keep ourselves in the game. Realistically looking at their fixtures and looking at ours, they have the better run in. I agree we need two points from the next two games to genuinely believe. I think we might get one if we play above ourselves.
Dokko
I could see us winning our last 3 games like. Just not sure if that's enough.
Karjala
Think we still need 3 wins, hopefully Villa and Palace would be 2 of those. Spuds on the last day? Hope they get beat tomorrow night and Leicester wrap up the title ASAP.
TRon
I could see us winning our last 3 games like. Just not sure if that's enough. I could see us winning them if they weren't our last three games.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Done the predictor again got Sunderland on 33 Norwich and ourselves on 32 going down. FFS, we really need some unexpected points from somewhere.
TRon
Do these predictors take into account teams switching off because they've got other priorites at the end of the season? Unless they do they mean fuck all tbh.

Not saying it probably isn't true, it's just fucking annoying! All three teams have back to back difficult fixtures and I think whoever comes out at the end of it having picked up points has to be favourite. We really have to get a result from City or the Scousers to have a chance.
The College Dropout
We need 8 points and superior goal difference to Norwich, basically. I fancy Sunderland to find 6 points somewhere. IMO we need 10 points. 9 at a minimum. Don't see it.
The College Dropout
Not the Sam effect. Just typical Sunderland.
JH
They don't really have the better run in - probably the same IMO. Man City (H) = Arsenal (H) Liverpool (A) < Stoke (A) Tottenham (H) < Chelsea (H) Crystal Palace (H) > Everton (H) Aston Villa (A) > Watford (A)
TRon
Not the Sam effect. Just typical Sunderland. Or us hoping for the best after the back to back wins against Liverpool and Spurs before Christmas.
sbnufc
I did a predictor and had us scraping survival. I used the most logical results, too (other than a draw on Tuesday) Well, I did say we'd beat Spurs But I don't think these are too wacky? Man City (H) = Arsenal (H) Liverpool (A) < Stoke (A) Tottenham (H) < Chelsea (H) Crystal Palace (H) > Everton (H) Aston Villa (A) > Watford (A) They've history of pulling out unlikely results at this time of year. Dave
Form table positions of the two sets of opponents: Us: 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 15th, 20th Them: 9th, 12th, 11th, 19th, 18th
AyeDubbleYoo
It's a shame Everton and Chelsea are playing so badly, usually they would be standard defeats.
Hanshithispantz
We have the only 'banker' in Villa, I think theirs is far easier after that though, especially considering Pardew will be desperate to beat us. If we both go down, when would have been the last time 3 clubs of that pedigree (lol) have been relegated in the same season?
