What a fucking mess, really wish I could fuck off Football for good.

Exactly my feelings. Would love to see all these cunts lose their money and start from scratch. I knew Liverpool and Man Utd fans thought football was all about them, but I never actually thought the people running the clubs thought that way.

I wonder if in a Shepherd/Hall world, whether we as a football club would have be helping this sort of thing happen.

So our deal gets knocked back and one of the reasons being the new owners could have influence over other clubs yet certain clubs want to bring in new rules............in which they'll have influence over other clubs ?

And to think the PL were worried about the saudi state having undue influence...

Talk about hypocrisy.

We always suspected that Man Utd was ran by a spreadsheet but I'm surprised by Liverpool letting themselves being corrupted. Wonder what a socialist like Klopp thinks about this.

Surely the government should just place a tax levy on the PL, and put the money straight into supporting FL sides who come into financial trouble.

Got to wonder if this might actually help us.

How would it?

Let’s days the Premier League approve our takeover before these proposals get approved, or it helps our case and our takeover be pushed through before this deal happens. The top 6 will just change rules to make it so we can’t spend money or be competitive but they can be. This is all about preventing clubs competing with them. Hidden in the proposals are hard spending rules for even Championship clubs, so no longer will you get a Wolves etc.

It’s an absolute disgrace, and more of a disgrace that leading figures at the EFL and FA are behind it instead of shooting it down straight away. I also don’t think the leading figures at the Premier League are against it, they were just caught being around the EFL when they had their pants down and were just saying it was only them up to no good and they were an innocent bystander.

Government should place a substantial tax charge on any club not having a 50+1 ownership structure.

Thing is, if it does and we get bought. Do we want to end up like the 'Top 6' where you care so little about the rest of the football in England.

I don't think that I do.

Aye, exactly. It’s ok having the massive amounts of money, because let’s not kid ourselves, the person with the most money has pretty much always won, however having all the control is a step too far.

Every club deserves a chance to make it. Every club deserves to have a say.

The thing is, they could takeout the voting shares etc, and this would look 1000x better, despite the fact that I’m against scrapping the League Cup. However it’s got nothing to do with giving the smaller clubs more money, and everything to do with grabbing power and preventing competition. If it wasn’t, then the money would have been pushed down years ago.

Legal action if big 6 resign from the league?

I'd want a fucking party.

This was my initial feeling too  Maybe I'm a bit naive but feel like the big 6 would shoot themselves in the foot if they did this? I don't think I've ever heard anyone saying or seen anyone writing that they want a super league.

Unfortunately the dangling carrot of helping the efl clubs will be to big for some to refuse

One EFL club chairman has already been on SSN saying he’s backing it and most lower league clubs will. Gary Neville has said he’s backing it, so that’s Salford behind it.

Aye, it’ll find its way thru. Our game has gone

As long as 11 EPL teams stay strong then it doesn’t really matter about what the ELF think. Government is totally against it also
