54
Looking forward to getting knocked out to Hartlepool: Newcastle United will learn their Carabao Cup second round opponents when the draw is made on Wednesday night. United, who reached the quarter-final stage of the competition last term, enter the second round along with the other Premier League teams who aren’t involved in European competition. The draw will be made live on Sky Sports on Wednesday night, following the conclusion of Leyton Orient’s first round clash with Queens Park Rangers – a game which is set to kick-off at 7:45pm. et tu brute
Getting the mackems might be a bonus either way. Beat them (very likely) and it will leave them rancid for a good while. However, on the off chance they did knock us out, then Bruce would then be getting absolute pelters from all corners, even from the sheep going to the match. Big Geordie
Law of averages say we must be due to get the mackems soon. Been 40 years since we got them in a cup competition.

midds
I''ll go with an 8-5 goalfest. Youtube will be ripping their skeletons out over the views. Future scholars of the game will cite it as a seminal moment in the history of the sport. A 90 minute experience that shifted the paradigm.
