He’s been on medical leave since June. About the same time that Mitchell left.

He sort of had, he was on medical leave. But came back recently to help with hand over.

I was only being semi-serious, but you are right, it's been widely reported that he was getting the job for 3-4 months.

Apparently left in 2024. Supposedly were some work permit delays and then I guess it didn't make sense coming in towards the end of a chaotic transfer window. Starting now he gets a clean slate and all that.

I was flicking through one of his interviews on Youtube back when he was first reported on and I remember saying he revamped the media team at Real Madrid. Hopefully he'll watch one player interview and realise it needs to be high on his agenda here
