They do fuck all typically in every variety of life. They're fucking parasites but we might fuck up and get a competent parasite that sees us running well as an opportunity to enrich himself? Liverpool having proper fucking cunts in roles is why they're dancing in the streets now the bin dipping fucks.

Filling typical roles is also a statement of intent from PIF. It's like when you walk into Burger King and there's a bunch of self serve kiosks and one fucker doing the fries, burgers and the drive thru. You know at a glance this is an unserious operation and you'd be better off just going to 7-11 and getting a burrito. We are an unserious club.

Mate, I know its been a rough transfer window with the Isak situation, but come on, 7-11? You're better than that.

You'd think so. Never happens though, CEOs always come on a wave of 'new beginnings' and a 'fresh start' in my experience and I can't imagine it's much different in football.

Not arguing with you (to be clear) but to me, it’s akin to a manager saying he only wants to join a club that’s doing well and on the up.

 Listen, I have lifted myself from some dark god damn days. A pepperoni hot pocket from 7-11 used to hit hard af after a night of loading trucks. I can't believe I still have sensation on my tongue.

Re Ceo - what are people expecting the impact to be?

Do look back and think Eales made much of an impact?

Really curious to hear peoples takes on this.

To be the driving force to push things along off the pitch.

If they don’t think there will be anything happening off the pitch, no-one worth their salt will want the job.

What was Ross Wilson doing at Forest now that it seems like that fixer dude and Edu are running the show?

Getting ready to come to us if Waugh to be believed ready for next window.

I really hope we get our next appointments right, it is evident a lot of this mess is because PIF/Ruebens are naïve in football world.

I'd like to think a proper strategy is in place for potential signings in the Jan window. We should be exploiting players that are out of contract in the summer and try and get them on the cheap, surely there are options abroad that can boost these squad.

It depends. On paper it will say Eales NUFC 2022-2025 and it would be easy to say that he only delivered a League Cup.

He has though been a part of a group who helped double the clubs revenue twice. He won a battle of power that pushed out Staveley who only wanted an entered SJP or rebuilt SJP on the current site etc. If the club goes ahead with a new stadium then he showed get the credit for that, although it will be announced and presumably opened by the new CEO.

You could also say that he built a new structure of the club, although it’s arguable that Staveley was doing that regardless, and also fair to say that the DOF’s Eales brought in, didn’t outrun his own tenure.

All in all, Eales will get as much credit as our fans wish to give him. Some will say that he never really brought much to the table, certainly nothing others couldn’t have, others will say he brought more than what was done during his tenure.

This is nonsense and Staveley said so herself.

It really is amazing we went through a whole transfer window without a CEO and DoF. Just mental really :D

Follows on last summer of having a half hearted DoF.

Hopefully next summer is boring as, with key deals wrapped up before WC.
