PauloGeordio
Eddie Howe on consistency: "We are looking at improvements this year. Consistency is a big, big word for us. Not the most interesting response, I know, but these are the things that we judge ourselves by. I think, if we can find that ability to win games and put a sequence of results together, the Premier League is so tight, it can really change the feeling." 3 years of Eddie! 🖤🤍 Eddie on his third year anniversary as Newcastle United manager: “It feels good to still be here! I’m happy with the progress but you always want more! We still haven’t got what we wanted - that was a trophy. And that’s what’s driving us.” Edited November 8, 2024 by PauloGeordio

Scotty66
Lump in my throat watching that. So many incredible memories. I remember that Burnley home game when we were camped on the edge of our own box in the final minutes hanging on for dear life to win that game. Then fast forward to that PSG game. What a difference. I was at a wedding and just after the meals etc everyone was in the bar nervously checking their phones, soon as it was confirmed we won everyone was jumping around going mental. That feeling of winning a big game, I don’t think there’s anything that compares to it.

Dyeyzzon
Glad that Brighton game got a mention. I remember the build up being all about how they suck in teams that press them and how we might come unstuck with how we play. Then to beat them 4-1 and practically qualify for the CL with it was just….can’t put it to words. One of the few games where I really cried happy tears. The 4-1 scoreline would prove quite prophetic too in hindsight.
