Eddie Howe on if he could provide assurances he would not follow Kevin Keegan’s example of walking out of St James’ Park in the wake of a disappointing summer transfer window:

Unbeaten so far this season. Potentially going into the international break in 4th. Winning our first two home games in over 20 years.

They got a point though. We are lucky today, just conceded 1 goal. Of course there are something Howe did well, but we have to be better than this

At times a tough watch because Tottenham are a good side and we do seem slightly off pace at times. We are also playing two very basic CBs who can't pass for shit. But Eddie and Big Joe exploited Ange's high line to perfection.

Feels to me that he doesn't have confidence in our fitness/sharpness so we've reverted to countering.
