The College Dropout
Based on vibes - I think CL is needed to keep Isak. For the lads own good and our coffers. The other comps are good for our co-efficient and a great chance of winning a cup. But then I think we need sales and a rebuild.

C'mon, the amount of time it took Tonali to force out Longstaff, if you're a top player and the manager is starting Longstaff over you, you'd be fuming. Howe has done that a few times. Colos Short and Curlies
We do need to be doing business nice and early in the summer. It is true that Howe likes to bed players in to the club and system where possible and if we're going for a new GK, CB, RW and possibly CM then he needs the full pre season with them
Dokko
Probably posted a thousand times already but... Kevin Keegan on Eddie Howe: "Where you are so lucky here now you have a guy in charge of your football club who gets it. He really does get it. You have not had that for a long time. Forget Mike Ashley he's not worth talking about. But it was 10 years where this club went absolutely nowhere, but this guy now (Eddie Howe), who you've got, if they support him, definitely Eddie Howe, don't give up on him... I was with Eddie Howe at the theatre, and we discussed for 20 minutes all things Newcastle United. From that minute on, before that I was convinced, but I was convinced that this guy (Howe) will take you where you want to go. So support him." duo
Eddie is having to do his job with one hand tied behind his back due to PSR. He's been unable to add a new first team player for two seasons now yet we are in a cup final, knocking on the door of CL football and were a Willock header away from being in the QF of the FA cup. We've only one truly elite player of note, our squad is knackered, some key players have yet to find their best form. Yes it is disappointing when we don't perform and yes Eddie makes mistakes but all in all what more do we expect?
KaKa
To Howes credit he really seems to have fully grasped how we need to move going forward with recruitment, in order to navigate PSR and give ourselves a better chance of competing. I think we are going to be fine going forward. We just have to get through this season really. Champions League this season would be a massive help to get us there quicker by making even more significant moves this summer. It's going to be a tense end to the season. Just hope he can figure out a way to get the team over the line.
