Erikse
You can tell that Howe is trying to manage minutes a lot better this time than last time. No doubt he has been analyzing all that went wrong mid season last time we were in Europe. I like that he's going out of his comfort zone, and tries to mix things up a lot more rather than just being stubborn and do the same thing over again. Not too bothered if we have some hiccups as a result, the evolution is good in itself.

Howe isn't used to experimenting and rotating that much, so I don't expect it all to go right immidiately. However as you say you don't evolve until you start trying new things, and he will learn a lot each time. Squad depth being slightly better also helps. The best thing is he's shown repeatedly that he can and does learn - which is more than the vast majority of managers, including initially successful ones. Ikon
Love you Eddie but where’s the bravery today? Honking football sitting back this much being so passive. We need to improve in possession to evolve too.
Pilko
At fault today I'm afraid. Threw it away.
Zero
We basically waiting for their goals since 60mins. Man.
The Butcher
Got just about everything wrong today. Really, really poor.
Smal
he can be annoyed at Pope for the kick but Pope kept us in it pretty much the whole game. It's mostly on Howe.
Aiston
Got it terribly wrong. Didn't attempt to attack for the last half an hour and just let Arsenal have free reign to do what they want.
nemtizz
Just leave Osula on the bench, man. He's useless against anyone above League One opposition. Edited September 28, 2025 by nemtizz
Milburn
2 wins in 10. Sort it out, Eddie.
r0cafella
Not going to knock Eddie it's a tough competitive league I do wish we didn't play this defensive passive game though. We shouldn't fear anyone at home.

Ikon
I’ve said for ages now! Why don’t we put more priority into improving our technical ability. There’s a reason why we struggle to control games in the right way. I love fast and hard working players but we need technical ability to evolve properly! Newcastle Fan
We have been close in the most games and today we did so much right, we need to have that killer instinct however but most of our front players seem to be off form.

Lush Vlad
They were a lot better than us from the off today. But did feel inevitable that we’d concede when we stopped playing for an entire half.
