One loss to Sunderland and a bunch of votes yes. What a bunch of wazzocks.

Look at the away form.

Look at the state of the summer business.

Look at the failing mentality late in gabes.

I'm not saying he deserves the sack but have some perspective. It's not knee jerk. The whole season so far has been underwhelming. It's just theres discontent growing.

He was a coward on Sunday and today. I've never rowed back on anything you melt

Your words.
If any of us have misinterpreted them, it’s down to you being such a foaming mess that you didn’t bother (or aren’t capable of) explaining yourself in a coherent way.

Only one melt here.

Do you mean that?

You strike me as the type of bloke who'd rather see us lose so you could say I told you so

I've been to a lot more games and supporting the team a lot more years than what you have I bet. Difference is the team is all that matters to me as that is what we all support, or should do. Managers, players come and go, NUFC is always there though

You reckon?

Yes I do since I didn't miss a home game in 45 years from 73, when I got my first season ticket with the opening of the East stand and went to about two thirds of the away games in that time also

I don’t think whether Howe is a coward matters much, and likely he isn’t.

I find it much more concerning that he openly admit that days of “intensity is our indentity” has gone.

Has he said that ?

Bad atmosphere? What? Why would whos larping around the boardroom effect the squad?

Squad is better than average like, average clubs would have your hands off for a Tino, Hall Bruno etc.

it’s human nature it just does. If you’re company is struggling, leadership struggles it will eventually make its way to people that have never spoken to or met the leadership and impact morale and performance. A big part of our early success was the atmosphere and optimism Staveley created. It’s reflected in the calibre of player we were attracting - Trippier and Bruno in the relegation battle, Isak and then Tonali.  We’ve not signed anyone of that pedigree and calibre since she’s left.

We have the weakest squad of the PL teams in the CL.  The next weakest squad in the PL is one place above us.

I said it last season. This new CL format is gruelling. For a squad like ours it’s -6 to -9 points.  We needed a great summer just to get back to 66 points. We didn’t do it and we’ll fall short.

Villa finished 6th last season with a considerably better squad imo.  You think our squad is as good as the one they ended the season with Kamara, Onana, McGinn, Tielemans, Barkley, Rashford, Malen, Asensio, Rogers, Bailey & Ramsey (lol) for 6 starting positions.

Crystal Palace have good players. Sunderland have good players. Fulham have good players.  Bournemouth have good players.  Man United have good players.  We also have good players but the margins are fine in the PL. A world class striker and no CL can be the difference between 5th and midtable.  If Man U had won the Europa League Amorim would’ve been sacked by now. They would be doing even worse.

He said that we can't do it every game due to the schedule and need to protect certain players.

which I would rather he picked the players that can execute the pressing game plan, instead of changing the approach.

we aren’t a team with gifted technical ability.

11 wins 5 draws 8 losses. Yeah there are problems - away form is an issue but it's hardly a disaster considering we've had 1 striker basically all season (who is more of a number 10).

Howe has so much credit in the bank with me. The lack of support he gets from some our "fans" is embarrassing tbh. We used to be the best club in the country at "supporting" the team. How times have changed.

I still think the vast majority support Howe, personally I think he should get at least until the season ends, maybe my feelings will change if we get knocked out of both cups and have a poor Christmas

Wouldn’t take it too literally just seems to be  @et tu brute’s favourite condemnation (am I right?). Just wondering, is Eddie Howe now Caesar in our nice little post ‘event’ debriefing drama? 🤔

If you act like a coward I will call it out and Sunday and today's press conference were cowardly in my opinion. Doesn't mean I don't want him not to lead the team to every victory he can mind. NUFC as a team is the be all and end all for me. As I said before, managers, players and owners come and go
