Thank fuck this season is over. The league performances have been abject.

Need a decent window and to hit the ground running next season to get fans back onside.

Personally I can’t see how he turns this shitshow around. But he’s staying. So I’ll still back him.

They're not present man - they attend about two games a year. They will be taking a steer from our DOF and our CEO

Them attending games isn't relevant, go see how many games Werner attends or the sheikh at city.

Theyve invested 100's of millions man. Not sure why difference you expect like, sitting in the directors box isn't suddenly going to make Wissa R9.

Zero trust left in Howe. Absolutely none.

It honestly feels pointless going into another summer window with him still in charge when the entire trajectory of the team has been heading the wrong way for over a year. This wasn’t some unlucky blip or “fine margins” season. It was a dreadful Premier League campaign full of passive performances, collapses, stale football and a team that looked mentally gone half the time.

And history is brutal on managers in this situation. Almost nobody in Premier League history has followed up a genuinely awful season with a sudden renaissance the year after. Usually the club just delays the inevitable and wastes another transfer window before pulling the trigger around November.

I’m honestly extremely downbeat about the whole thing right now. Normally I’m already looking forward to next season the moment the final whistle goes on the current one, but not this time.

Pif need to keep an eye on the the amount of money we throw about on his preferred players, because if we bring in more duds we will be knackered and any new manager won't have the funds to change things.

The amount of fucking times they changed things today, wouldn't even happen in sunday league.

I really don't understand the logic of keeping him for another season but lets hope he proves me wrong.

One of these gobshite journos should ask why after looking good last week

Absolutely no excuses not to finish top 6 next season. Most of the teams who didn't play in Europe are in it next season. I'll give him Chelsea, but he has to finish above all of Brighton, Bournemouth & Sunderland or he should leave.

A reminder that Spurs have stayed up by two points.

1 of those which we, and be we I mean solely Howe, gifted them.

17 defeats this season in the league fucking hell thank god for woltemade and Barnes for there goals. Or we'd be down.

And both have struggled minutes whilst some players who played like they couldn't give a fuck at times (Gordon chief among them) were guaranteed starters .

Disappointing and brutal season. Isak, 58 games, Wissa, terrible goalkeepers - plus a manager who couldn't find a solution. The result being a very mixed bag with some highs and a lot of painful lows.

Personally won't put too much weight into anything that happened after the Nou Camp. Prior to then, everything was in our hands but that night was a wrecking ball to the season.

He isn't going anywhere (rightly so, imo, though that's not a military-grade position), so all we can do is look forward to a reshuffle and a fresh start. Hopefully he can find his mojo again with a refreshed squad.

Hopefully people won't be complete cunts about a man who has delivered more than we could've realistically dreamed of, just for having the gall to deliver a sub-par league performance. But I won't hold my breath.

He doesn't get the entire season mind. If we are ever say 9 points adrift of Europe, we say thanks for everything.

It's mental not to make the change this summer honestly, but I've accepted we won't so not going to bang on about it.

All he had to do was start with the same team he did last week.

People could have got behind that and enjoyed seeing if any further encouragement and optimism could be had.

Awful setup to start and it just set the tone for a poor performance, poor result and much more negative end to the season.

To make it worse for Eddie Sunderland have turned up and beaten Chelsea on the last day to seal a Europe League place!

Terrible day.

After the nou camp we had the chance to get in the champions league with just one game a week.

It's not been good enough nothing has changed with time on the training pitch.

This. Instead he went to tinker on an experiment that none of us could fathom what it was. Just fucking stupid and bizarre in equal measure.

29 league defeats over 2 seasons

Our inability to scrap out draws from losses is damning.

Our excuse of 'too many games in a week' really showed itself to be utter bullshit.

One game a week and probably looked even worse.

It was never valid to begin with. Clubs with ambition making such excuse would be laughed at.
