I'm not convinced that Liverpool wanted or expected to get Isaak and Ekitike. It was their intention to unsettle Isak and it worked. They signed Ekitike to stop us from having him. This squad is so stale, adding players in one go like we did in the summer is pointless to some extent, you need to add players constantly to freshen the squad all the time. But we are also mostly signing players who aren’t good in general play or technically astute enough. Plus the coaching is more based on transitioning. I just don't think he can coach a team of technical, mentally strong players. It's athletes on the press or lose the plot and hold on for dear life.
